Receiving Dock Policies

The receiving dock at most plants can be a very fast paced and hectic place in a production plant.  Our goal is to provide fast & consistent turnaround times while keeping all customers informed of order processes.  To improve your order process we require that specific information be provided before your goods are delivered to Impress Designs, Inc.  Make sure to look over the Receiving Requirements Checklist before ordering your goods for delivery to Impress Designs, Inc.

Will call is available during normal hours of operation

Truck Scheduling

Trucks must be scheduled no later than 1 hour before close of business

Floor Load Shipments

Floor loaded containers and trucks must be scheduled with the warehouse in advance and typically cannot be scheduled after lunch

The warehouse manager may at times approve deliveries outside of the normally scheduled hours of operation at his/her discretion.

 

Receiving Requirements Checklist - CURRENT ORDERS

receiving check mark Decoration orders must have a purchase order placed before goods arrive.
receiving check mark All packages and/or skids must reference your Impress Designs issued PO#, your IDI work order #, or your inventory order #.
receiving check mark Do not bulk ship purchase orders.  Bulking a PO will result in a $10.00 charge per order they must be broken apart into.

 

Receiving Requirements Checklist - CUSTOMER BLANK INVENTORY ORDERS

receiving check mark Customer owned blank inventory must have an accurate BOL & packing list transmitted to Impress Designs before goods arrive.
receiving check mark All packages and/or skids must reference your pre-provided vendor PO#, BOL/packing #, or your inventory order #.
