Overview

A complementary capability for complete programs.

UV printing is commonly paired with laser cutting for name badges, displays, identification products, and specialty components. It can also support acrylic, plastic, glass, metal, vinyl, and wood after material evaluation.

Current flatbed equipment supports a print area up to 30.3 by 13 inches and products up to 7.87 inches high. Every material, coating, adhesion requirement, product dimension, and finished use is tested or confirmed before quoting and production.

Capabilities & scope

UV program applications.

01

Identification and name badges

  2. 02

Receive or test a representative sample where compatibility is not established.

  3. 03

Prepare the file, white-ink strategy, fixtures, and production settings.

  4. 04

Print, inspect, combine with other program components, and pack.

Requirements & controls

Important considerations

  • Material acceptance is case by case.
  • Adhesion, surface treatment, coating, and finished use affect suitability.
  • The 30.3-by-13-inch print area and 7.87-inch maximum product height are equipment limits, not guarantees that every material or product is suitable.
  • Samples and production approvals may be required.

Customer fit

A strong fit for

  • Name-badge and identification programs
  • Branded displays and rigid graphics
  • Retail and event components
  • Programs combining apparel and non-apparel goods
