3PL operations

Assemble, label, finish, and pack the complete program.

Apparel, non-decorated products, promotional goods, hangtags, labels, inserts, packaging, and display materials can become one controlled finished unit.

Overview

Complexity belongs in the process, not with the customer.

Kitting brings products from multiple sources into one defined assembly and packing workflow. Decoration, hangtags, neck labels, RFID, folding, bagging, size stickers, inserts, displays, and cartons can be coordinated before shipment.

Programs can combine products that Impress Designs decorates with items supplied by the customer or other vendors.

Capabilities & scope

Kitting and finishing services.

01

Folding and bagging

Automatic folding and bagging equipment supports consistent high-volume unit preparation; manual workflows cover products, closures, quantities, and group packs that do not fit the automated line.

02

Labels and variable data

Hangtags, neck labels, relabeling, size stickers, names, barcodes, shipping labels, and other identifiers can be printed or applied.

03

Product assembly

Apparel, rigid goods, promotional products, inserts, hardware, and packaging can be combined.

04

Displays and destination packs

Components can be prepared and labeled by person, department, location, store, event, customer, or distribution center.

05

RFID preparation

Custom-built inline equipment can print and encode RFID labels and automatically apply RFID, UPC, or hologram labels to hangtags. RFID labels can also be printed and encoded for application to bags or directly to items.

Operating model

Build the bill of materials and work instructions.

  1. 01

Define every item, quantity, version, label, insert, package, carton, and destination.

  2. 02

Establish inbound sources, identifiers, inspection, storage, and shortage rules.

  3. 03

Create the assembly, quality, variable-data, and packing instructions.

  4. 04

Produce, audit, report, and release finished kits.
