Impress Designs does offer cap wrap embroidery, but it isn't always the best option. This process adds difficulty and risk to the project and because of that has a higher price point than crown only embroidery.
Depending on the particular circumstance and hat, it is often more beneficial in the short and long term to sew a crown logo and then to sew a side on the caps as a separate piece of embroidery. Doing this typically results in a cleaner sewing, allows for additional sewing dimensions, and is easier to accommodate on different size hats.
- Minimum Qty: 72 pcs (you can produce less than 72 pieces, but you will always be billed for at least 72 pieces of the specialty add on.
- Lead Time: 10 business days
- Cap wraps are priced as an add on fee to your sewing fee and price by the quantity of pieces being decorated with the same exact same front/side design per side. If you have 2 sides on a wrap you will have 2 wrap fees per matching item with matching designs. Please call ahead for a quote if you want clarification.
What you need to know:
- Sometimes it is advantageous to sew the item with a standard crown and a standard side embroidery vs doing a cap wrap
- Cap wraps do not give us much control over the side logo position, so sized hats often are better processed with a front and side separated or you will have multiple files per design using wraps unless you agree that placement can move around some
- Cap wraps work on most caps and visors, but not all
- You must tell us that you want your order processed as a wrap vs a front and separate side
- if you change your side embroidery out a lot it is a good idea to not use a cap wrap in many situations, but if you always sew the same hat and logo combination then a cap wrap might be right for you
