What is the minimum font (text) size for sewing embroidered garments?

When it comes to embroidery, the standard minimum size requirements can vary depending on factors like design complexity and fabric. For text and lettering, a general guideline is that sans-serif fonts should be at least 0.25 inches (6.35 millimeters) in height for optimal legibility. However, serif fonts should be at least 0.35 inches (8.89 millimeters) may be necessary to maintain the clarity and detail of the characters.  A basic block or script font without serifs almost always result in better quality embroidery.

It's worth noting that while it's possible for our team to sew smaller fonts, decreasing the font size can result in a reduction in the quality and legibility of the embroidery. So, it's important to strike a balance between design size and the level of detail you want to achieve to ensure a satisfactory end result.
